Description Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT), a unit of Penn State Enterprise Information Technology, is looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to become an integral member of our team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position will direct and lead the TLT Operations Support group to achieve tactical/strategic unit goals, including the planning, consulting, and implementation of technologies for faculty and student engagement opportunities and events. This position will also participate in strategic planning, provide oversight of TLT budgets, and oversee daily administration of technology needs and support for TLT staff. Critical duties include supervising three fulltime staff; staying current with new instructional technologies, trends and services and; collaborating across the University with faculty, students, instructional designers, and IT staff. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate must have experience leading projects; strategic and financial planning/budgeting and; developing plans to accomplish unit goals. Other requirements for this position include working knowledge of a broad range of technologies (desktop management, VM Hosting, cloud, etc.); proven success in leading teams and cross-team collaboration; experience with personnel management; and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
