Penn State World Campus Student Affairs is seeking applicants for a half-time assistantship (tuition, plus stipend) with a two-semester appointment beginning August 2019 and ending in May 2020 with possible extension for the following academic year. The Student Engagement Graduate Assistant position works with the World Campus Student Affairs staff to design and implement programs and services for students studying online and requires 20 hours a week, which includes some evening and weekend hours. General responsibilities include: managing the development, implementation, and administration of WC student engagement events each semester; assisting student organizations with their recruitment, programming efforts and review of funding requests; assisting with World Campus Student Affairs programs including, but not limited to, on-site current student events, All University Day, service days, and leadership conferences.
