Five part-time employees are needed to assist the sleep research team with a 5-year NIH-funded longitudinal research project following up the sleep, cardiometabolic and neurocognitive health of 700 young adults approx. 18-30 years old. Duties include: phone calls to recruit subjects/participants for visits; obtain informed consent; conduct data collection, using structured interviewing; administer neurocognitive and psychological tests; EEG hook ups; monitor incoming data for accuracy; ensure data is entered correctly and reconciled per PI guidelines. Work hours: Primary second shift but varied, Sunday - Saturday. Two different schedules needed: (1) Up to 40 hours/week for 16 weeks, working 1 pm-9 pm 5 nights/week or (2) Up to 24 hours/week indefinitely, 3 pm-9 pm, 3-4 nights/week. Wage payroll: $13.75-$15.75/hour, depending on experience. Preference will be given students currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in the field of psychology or recent graduates. Own transportation required to travel to affiliated research sites.
