The Center for Engineering Outreach and Inclusion at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) is seeking two Academic Instructors for the Jump Start Math and Physics Enhancement Bridge program that will run from May 13 to June 7, 2019. Jump Start participants are current Penn State engineering rising sophomore students from all Penn State campuses. This is a preparatory, non-credit class. Responsibilities would include guiding participants to success in engineering entrance to major courses - Math 141 and/or Math 250, facilitate daily instruction in assigned subject and collaborate with other team members of the program. Instructors provide students with a solid foundation of material and learning style to enable them to succeed when taking the course for credit. Candidates must have the appropriate academic credentials and relevant teaching experience. Applicants need to submit a resume and cover letter indicating which course you are interested in instructing.
