The School of Labor and Employment Relations at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a twelve-month, non-tenure track faculty appointment. The appointment will be at the appropriate Teaching Professor rank. Applicants must have considerable teaching experience in residential settings at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and strong teaching interests and experience in human resource management (HRM). Applicants should be able to teach Human Resources Fundamentals, HR Analytics and Information Systems, and/or business fundamentals (basic finance, accounting, management strategy and how they relate to HRM). Ability to teach compensation and benefits and experience in online teaching would be considered assets. The position will be located at the University Park Campus of Penn State. In addition to teaching in residence, the successful candidate may be asked to occasionally teach in the School's online program. The successful candidate will also be expected to perform some service work on behalf of the School. To be considered, applicants must have a Doctorate in a relevant field or a J.D. degree.
