Job Summary Client is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Security Architect to help design, build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our cloud hosting and computing environments. You will help lead cloud security during the design, build and migration phases of our SAP rehosting program and our initial AWS service offering deployment. The Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for supporting large scale deployment projects, network and all underlying systems related to supporting cloud computing workloads and IT project deployments ensuring all meet appropriate security requirements. ResponsibilitiesJob Function Performs AWS development and design work and supports implementation. Recommends and implements security monitoring tools and processes. Assists with investigations. Recommends and implements scanning and vulnerability testing tools, schedules and processes. Helps design processes for analyzing log data. Identifies guiding principles and develops technical roadmaps for future cloud security implementations. Ensures security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions. Acts as a security subject-matter expert around AWS. Guide the work of System Engineers and Technical Consultants as these resources install, configure, test and maintain cloud services from AWS. Maintain security strategies Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution QualificationsMinimum Skills Required Thorough understanding of AWS Cloud Computing security Thorough understanding of AWS infrastructure security related to firewalls, load balancers, hypervisor, storage, monitoring) Current certifications in AWS Current CISSP certification desirable Systems management, logging, and monitoring systems Experience with an automation platform (Puppet, Chef) desirable Experience with one or more RDBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) desirable Experience with NOSQL databases (Dynamo, etc.) desirable Extensive experience working on large scale IT projects related to design, deployment and configuration.
