Merakey is looking for Drug and Alcohol Counselors to join our Coal Township, PA Team.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must possess a Masters' Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology?
  • Must possess at least 1 year of experience in the delivery of psychological services or hold a CACD (Certified Addiction Counselor Diplomat).
  • Must possess a valid PA Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.
POSITION OVERVIEW
  • Provides intake services to determine the appropriate treatment intervention, diagnostic assessments, case histories and other related correspondence as per Merakey, DPW and DOH policies and regulations.
  • Develops Treatment Plans, ongoing therapy and supportive counseling services to assigned caseload.
  • Conducts and completes client case consults, monitor client progress in treatment and recommend treatment plan revisions and/or other appropriate disposition.
  • Maintain accurate and professional case records, documenting each case activity, and maintain confidentiality regarding client.
