Our program is designed to provide Interns with a real-world look at different Information Technology (IT) roles within the banking industry. An internship with Fulton Financial Corporation will provide you with valuable experience in a broad array of IT operations.Under close supervision of designated supervisor, the intern is responsible for observing Bank policies and procedures to acquire a working knowledge of the specific functions within the Banks IT function. Specific activities vary by assignment. A wide range of college majors are considered based on specific needs of department such as: Computer Science , Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, and Business Management.

Position Title: IT Business Systems Analyst Intern Technical Services & Operations

Semester: Summer and Fall 2019

Hours/week: 40 hours for the Summer, up to 30 hours for the Fall

Position Overview:

Responsible for supporting enterprise application services within the Business Application Management group. Responsible for understanding and delivering solutions that support strategic objectives. Troubleshoots and solves issues, evaluates value of user change requests and assists in monitoring, measuring, and enhancing the service. Works with the foundational, end user service teams and external service providers to understand the underlying technologies and applications.

Performs assigned duties in designated department to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for successful performance. Duties to potentially include, but are not limited to:

? Analyze, design, develop, test, implement and support enterprise application services.
? Provide technical support for client server based applications.
? Support affiliate banks through the remote image capture process.
? Support bank customers utilizing business related file transfer services.
? Investigate and document root cause analysis of issues.
? Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
? Provide recommendations and solutions that can be quickly implemented to correct the problem.
? Translate business requirements into technical solutions leveraging existing systems and automation whenever possible.
? Work closely with Business Relationship Managers, Business Services Analyst, System Engineers, and business partners in managing day to day issues and identifying process improvement opportunities
? Keep manager advised of progress on all projects on a timely basis.
Reports on progress in internship program and feedback about program to manager. Management feedback must indicate satisfactory progress to remain in Internship Program. Duration of program may vary.

Intern may participate in Career Training/Education as needed, as well as, professional networking events.


Education / Skills

? High School Diploma or the equivalent required
? Fulton interns will be expected to have completed, or currently enrolled and in the process of completing, a 4 year college degree at an accredited college or university. Computer science, accounting, finance, risk management, and business management majors preferred, but not required. Strong academic performance is required.Preference will be offered to rising sophomores and juniors (for summer), and juniors/seniors (for fall).
? CIS and background in computers to support application maintenance tasks as well as project support.
? Would have completed a minimum of three semesters and at least 45+ credits.
? Excellent problem solving, planning, and interpersonal skills.
? Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation.

Experience requirements will match the needs of the assigned department. Previous work experience, leadership experience, and community involvement preferred.

May or may not have had previous internship.

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager.
