OverviewProvide data analysis and delivery of reports, dashboards and metric-level analysis for all levels and areas of FFC. Responsible for developing and implementing reporting to drive business results and ensure fact based analytics are utilized. Conduct and make recommendations regarding the Data Stewardship process for Operations data used throughout the corporation as it relates to core system output accuracy and integrity and working with architectural, quality, and control stewards to achieve robust corporate reporting solutions. Utilize appropriate validation and control to build data related processes to ensure that data integrity is maintained. Make recommendations to Operations management with projects as a technical resource during system enhancement reviews, consolidations/acquisitions, and other projects as needed.Position can be located in East Petersburg (near Lancaster) or Bethlehem, PAHours are 8:00-5:00 Monday - FridayResponsibilitiesEssential DutiesIdentify, develop, document and deliver data analysis by performing one or more of the following: importing, transforming, cleansing, or validating data files. The delivery of data may take the form of charts, graphs, or tables. Using approved data analysis and statistical methodologies, the employee will be able to provide data cleansing, ensure the quality of data, quality of measurements and initial transformations, determine the characteristics of data sample including correlations and cross tabulations, provide thorough documentation, and ensure the accuracy of results. They will also be able to provide data validation using approved methods to ensure data integrity and apply sound testing methodologies to ensure data accuracy and document those results. Delivery of data will be executed by using a wide variety of tools. Provide guidance and training to junior analyst positions related to data analysis processing or specific to Fulton Financial Corporation product and procedural knowledge. Also provide guidance and support to other departments and reporting authors.Identify and complete tasks and make recommendations about the Data Stewardship effort related to core system output accuracy and integrity. Work with third party vendors as well as IT Architectural, Quality, and Database development teams for identifying, changing, mapping, and testing all Operational system data files and fields. Work with IT Business Intelligence architecture and support functions to ensure accurate data models and reporting output. Be a data advocate for FFC Operations and customers of Operations data to ensure needs are being met.Ensures that appropriate validation and controls are used to ensure that data integrity is maintained. Coordinate and perform this effort with Operations Data Group staff to ensure consistency and full documentation of validation efforts for each project. Assist other areas of the corporation with their efforts to validate Operationally sourced data.Provide comprehensive operational, analytical, and technical support for projects that impact the corporate use of technology by advocating for the use of technology to improve processes, controls, and reporting. Actively participate in the change management process for the core Operations applications including the submission, tracking, and follow up on outstanding issues with related vendors and internal partners. Represent Operations at meetings committees, focus groups, projects, concerning account application issues, system processing, and operating procedures. Make recommendations about system changes based on recommendations from Operations management as well as providing coding and interface expertise for applications and origination systems and credit reporting agencies by assuring system accuracy as compared to project documentation. Identify, document and implement LEAN initiatives through the continuous process improvement guidelines.QualificationsEducationBachelor Degree or the Equivalent Experience.
