Within FreeWheel's Global Finance Group, Shared Services manages customer billing and reporting functions for several FreeWheel US and Intl business units, including the Engineering group, Product Management group, Network Operations group and International. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, Shared Services, the Finance Manager will lead efforts related to customer billings, collections, Accounts Receiveableanalysis, reporting, and strategic support for our cloud-based billing platform. This role will require constant collaboration with all functions in the business units. The focus is to launch the system to all of our business units and gain synergy and efficiency as we continue our global expansion.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Primary ownership of customer billings for the Publisher business unit within the billing platform
Working closely with the Publisher Finance Director on monthly customer billings and revenue recognition
Lead cross-functional strategic training of billing platform and become the system expert
Support for international roll out of billing platform
Support for month end close and other ad hoc projects as needed
General Requirements: Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor degree in finance or another analytical discipline
6+ years of experience
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task to manage daily workload while working under tight deadlines on high priority tasks
Sound analytical and decision-making abilities
Excellent business judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills that result in the ability to work effectively and efficiently across all functions in the business and all levels of leadership
Passion for building new businesses and working in an entrepreneurial, rapidly changing market
